5 Beauty Oils to prepare your skin for winter

5 Beauty Oils to prepare your skin for winter

HAND, FACE AND BODY ORGANIC SKIN CARE.

When we make the switch to natural skin care products, we often hear about Argan, Rose Hip or Jojoba oil… here are five more to discover, especially for winter! With the temperature getting colder, our skin tends to dry out. This is the opportunity to use beauty oils as a treatment for the skin, body, hair, and nails, by applying them pure or mixed with a cream or a serum. Each beauty oil has its respective properties, which will be preferred according to our skin type: combination, dry or oily, it is always important to nourish it well!

Hemp

A product from Quebec, hemp oil is obtained by the 1st cold pressing of Cannabis Sativa seeds. We particularly like it because it is generally suitable for all skin types: it penetrates quickly and leaves no residue. Containing essential fatty acids (Omega 3 and 6) and alpha-tocopherol (Vitamin E), it is a true anti-aging ally. For your daily beauty routine, this is an oil to try!

Inca Inchi
Extracted from a plant native to the Amazonian forests of Peru, this oil has been used for thousands of years for its many properties. We like to use it in winter, because it protects the skin against the external elements (cold, wind). Rich in Vitamins E and A, and antioxidants, it is ideal for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin.

Black Cumin
From the seed of Black Cumin, this oil originates from the Mediterranean regions. It is the oil “par excellence” for acne-prone and oily skin: it rebalances sebum production without drying out, while purifying the skin.

Tamanu
Pressed from the Callophylum nut, this oil contains many active ingredients for skin problems (rosacea, wrinkles, acne, stretch marks, sunburn, irritations). It helps with healing and skin regeneration, while giving flexibility and elasticity to the skin. Absorbed quickly, it is also a great natural alternative to heal, preserve and restore radiance to your tattoos!

Calendula
Produced from the maceration of Calendula flowers in sunflower oil, this oil is very gentle and adapts easily to fragile skin. A must have in your first-aid kit, its powerful anti-inflammatory properties help relieve skin irritation and heal wounds. Convenient for small daily sores, it can be applied pure on scratches (after disinfecting the area), and on very dry hands.
